Grimes County

The Grimes County courthouse was built in 1893 of brick and stone in Italianate style. It was designed by F. S. Glover and built by G. T. Macon and Tomas Foster at a cost of $12,597. One of Clyde Barrow’s outlaw gang was tried in this courthouse.
