Dallas County

The Dallas County courthouse was built in 1966 in Contemporary style of concrete and steel at a cost of over $12 million. The old courthouse, which sits across the street, is of Romanesque Revival design, built of Pecos Red Sandstone and blue granite. This courthouse is well known as "Old Red".
